Situated in the village High Street Douglas cottage is just a short stroll to the beach and a stones throw from the village shops and pub.

Sitting room

Get COSY with a log fire

This room has a smart/LCD TV and DVD player with freeview satellite, two large comfortable sofas, one of which is a double pull-out bed if required. There is a wood burning stove which will be set ready to light and a basket of logs. On the coffee table or shelves there is a selection of board and card games. 

Kitchen

Fully equipped

You will find a wide range of  cooking and serving utensils in this well equipped kitchen with a larder cupboard for your own food supplies. The oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are all built in plus freestanding microwave and butcher's block. Near to the table, which seats 6 but can extend to 8, there's another wood burning stove.

Bedrooms

Double & twin

Both bedrooms are furnished to the same high standard as the rest of the cottage with a mix of both new and up-cycled furniture. One has a double bed and the other twin single beds. Both have colour co-ordinated bed linen and towels and have ample storage.

Garden

Outside retreat & BBQ

Access to the fully enclosed, mainly grass garden is from the kitchen to the rear of the cottage. There's a log stack for extra logs for the woodburners and also a BBQ .

Bath & shower

Upstairs bathroom, there is a shower over the bath, sink, loo and heated towel rail.

Beach nearby

Coldingham Sands are less than 1 mile from the cottage. It takes 20 minutes to walk or 2 minutes to drive and park. It is a blue flag beach and is manned during the summer months by lifeguards. St. Vedas Surf School operates from there and runs both group and individual lessons.
